Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Reports
Every year by February 1st, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) submits a report to the U.S. Department of Justice on its FOIA program. The annual FOIA report, which covers the prior fiscal year (October 1- September 30), includes information on the number of FOIA requests and appeals the FHFA received, how long it took to process those requests and appeals, and how often the FHFA withheld information under a FOIA exemption.
