AcademyWomen

AcademyWomen (AW) is an organization created by and for U.S. female military leaders as a ready source of personal and professional support. AW brings women with similar values, experiences and challenges, together for support, mentorship, and personal and professional development. The USCGA chapter of AcademyWomen especially strives to enable women enrolled in the Coast Guard Academy and Officer Development Programs to reach their full potential as leaders at every stage of their lives: from the start of their experience as cadets, through their careers, and even beyond into retirement. Our organization is involved in projects such as e-Mentoring, the annual AcademyWomen Leadership Symposium, and Career Coaching & Professional Development, and also offers a global reach with its web-based community.
