Inter-Library Loan

Aiso and Chamberlin Libraries (LI)

This service is limited to the faculty, students and staff of the Defense Language Institute. Requests must be for material in support of classroom teaching, research, studies, or other DLI  mission-related tasks.

• Patrons may request up to four items at a time.  This includes journal articles and dissertations.
  

Items are generally received within ten to twenty days depending on the type of item requested (book, article, video, etc.).  Please take this into consideration when placing your requests. 

In the event that an item is recalled by the lending library, patron agrees to return the book at the required time.

Patrons are responsible for the replacement of any lost or damaged items.

Notification for the arrival of loans will be by phone or email and can be picked up at the circulation desk of the Aiso Library. You will need to sign for the material at the time of pickup and show a valid ID.

Interlibrary Loan staff is happy to assist with your interlibrary loan needs and answer any questions regarding the status of your request(s). Please feel free to stop by the circulation desk of the Aiso Library during operating hours.

For Books please include: Name of author(s); title of book(s); publisher; year published; ISBN if available.

For Articles please include: Name of author(s); title of article; title of journal(s) or periodical(s); page numbers.
