LIBRARY ACCESS AND POLICIES Aiso Library os open to those who have access to the Presidio of Monterey (POM). Chamberlin Library, located at the Ord Military Community in Seaside, CA, is open to the public. BORROWING PRIVILEGESBorrowing privileges are extended to faculty, staff, students, and military families of the Defense Langauge Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) / Presidio of Monterey (POM). BORROWING FROM NPS OR MIIS In a reciprocal agreement, Aiso Library may grant borrowing privileges to DLIFLC faculty, staff, and students for the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) and/or the Monterey Institute for International Studies (MIIS). Inquiries may be made, in person, at the Aiso Library reference desk. LIBRARY ORIENTATIONS AND REFERENCE INSTRUCTION Library orientations and reference workshops are available for faculty and students. Contact the Library 831-242- 6948 to schedule an appointment. CONFERENCE ROOM AND STUDY ROOMS The Library conference room is available for classroom activities, meetings, and other DLIFLC events. It is equipped with computer and interenet access, a computer projector, and a SmartBoard. The conference room calendar may be viewed on Sharepoint but you must contact the Library reference desk 831-242-4230 to schedule an event. Conference room capacity is 30. Three study rooms are also available. These are generally available on a first-come first-served basis but may also be reserved up to two weeks in advance.
