Overview:
The Mobile Labs and Kits Team designs, fabricates and fields mobile analytical platforms and custom engineering controls capable of supporting on-site forensic analysis by providing a means for safe handling, processing, and analytical analysis of samples containing chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosive, emerging threats, or unknown materials. A unique suite of instrumentation, determined by the mission of the customer, is integrated into each mobile platform.

Mobile Laboratories
The Mobile Labs and Kits Team specializes in the custom design of mobile laboratories and integration of analytical instrumentation. The level of mobility for each laboratory depends on the response time and intended use of the lab. Each lab is custom designed for each user to ensure that the mission needs are achieved.
Engineering Controls
The Mobile Labs and Kits Team has expertise in the design and development of custom engineering controls. The engineers are capable of developing containment that is suitable for BSL-1 through BSL-3 containment with the items ranging from bleaching stations to glove boxes. Each engineering control is custom designed for the specific needs of the customer.
Design
Each product that is produced starts with the design and transpires into a final product. Engineers on the Mobile Labs and Kits Team work closely with the customer or end user to develop a design that encompasses all of the requirements of the program.
Testing
