The mission of the Air Force ISR Agency Contracting Division is to foster innovation and empowerment, and lead by example while providing optimum support for customers and business partners alike.

Air Force ISR Agency Contracting provides contracting support to sustain information operations worldwide. AF ISR Agency Contracting is responsible for contracting support for the Air Force ISR Agency. Air Force ISR Agency supplements the normal logistics system by contracting for all supplies, equipment, systems and services that are not prescribed to be obtained through other sources:

Information Technology Requirements
Vendors should be aware that the majority of service contracts issued by Air Force ISR Agency Contracting require a facility clearance to handle classified materials. For more information, call the director of business operations at (210) 977-2453.

Normal base operating support for Air Force ISR Agency and its associated units is provided by the 802nd Contracting Squadron.

Unsolicited Proposals

Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 15.6 contains information on how a contractor should submit, and how the government should evaluate, unsolicited proposals. There are three things you should know:

1. Submit unsolicited proposals to

2. Place restrictive legends on the cover page -- or table of contents if you use one -- and on every page where your unsolicited proposal contains proprietary information you want to protect.

3. Include a cost proposal. You can call it "preliminary" or "to be negotiated," but we will need it before we begin the evaluation.

We will be happy to provide you the complete set of instructions in FAR Subpart 15.6 upon your request, by e-mail or fax. Following the FAR instructions will make the proposal more complete and the evaluation easier.
