The Quantico Middle/High School Warriors squared off against the Fredericksburg Christian School Eagles in Fredericksburg on Friday.
So much goes on in the minds of players as they go to play in and come from football games. When the Quantico Warriors lined up lined up across from the Eagles, one of the top teams in their division, each player had the same thing on their mind: showing their opponents what they were made of. Even though they lost the game, 52-0, the Warrior's fire and spirit stayed strong.
With different personalities on the team, many had their own ways of getting ready for the game. Some players talked about their strategy with one another, others mentally prepared themselves by silently looking out the window, listening to their favorite tune. One player practiced a team prayer he planned to lead before the start of the game.
