Edwards AFB

Edwards Air Force Base is home of the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) and NASA Dryden Test Center. Edwards is the ideal location for testing and development of aircraft due to the Rogers Dry Lake Bed and year round good weather. Edwards is located on the western edge of the Mojave Desert, approximately 100 miles from Los Angeles. The installation covers 301,000 acres and has a workforce of 1,800 military personnel and 3,800 civilians.

Edwards proudly opened a brand new 37,300 square foot shopping complex in May of 1997. It houses Taco Bell, Baskin-Robbins, Popeye's Chicken, Anthony's Pizza, Robin Hood, and Charley's Grilled Subs, The mall also includes a barber and beauty shop, a florist and GNC.

NASA Dryden Test Center has the following food facilities: American Eatery, Robin Hood and Anthony’s Pizza.

Edwards AFB also has a Burger King, Starbucks, and Pizza Hut restaurants. The exchange provides an in-store full service bank in the way of Armed Forces Bank.
