General Information - Enlisted MOS Conversion List (Army)
All WOMOS's require that the applicant have experience in the enlisted feeder MOS, with the exception of 153A, 255A, 255N, and 882A, but you have to meet the minimum prerequisites.
Click the Warrant Officer MOSs below to see the duty description, prerequisites, and preferred qualifications that you may be eligible to apply for. Please remember, you must meet the MINIMUM prerequisites for the Warrant Officer MOS for which you will apply, or you must request a prerequisite waiver.
Waivers are not needed for preferred qualifications.

MOS not listed? You could still qualify to become a warrant officer. The five warrant officer specialties listed below are open to any applicant without regard to the enlisted feeder MOS.
Minimum prerequisites must be met and the 7 Administrative Requirements - AVAILABLE TO INTERESTED APPLICANTS, NO FEEDER MOS REQUIRED
- 153A - Rotary Wing Aviator
- 255N - Network Management Technician (Must have 4 years IT experience IAW prerequisites)
- 255A - Information Services Technician (Must have 4 years IT experience IAW prerequisites)
- 882A - Mobility Officer
Service member must submit an AFS request with the application if they have 12 or more years Active Federal Service.
