I'm Sergeant First Class Mario Russo I am a JTGS training and evaluations NCOIC. JTGS stands for the Joint Tactical Ground Station and we provide Theatre missile warning throughout the world. We report the incoming missiles, missile launches to the global combatant commanders.
Teamwork is fundamental to what we do day to day in the Army you have to rely on somebody else and they have to rely on you.
One of the major things that I can take into the civilian job field is the structure and discipline that the military has taught me as well as computer skills. Working with the different operating systems that we deal with on a day-to-day basis.
The coolest part of my job is that we get to work hand and hand with the different military forces that the United States has as well as other forces throughout the world and provide them with the information that they need.
