IHS Physician speaks with students

Physician Ambassadors

The Indian Health Program's Physician Ambassador Program works with former and current Indian Health Program physicians who volunteer to assist the IHS with the recruitment of medical students and residents. The Health Profession Support Team provides support and information, including recruitment marketing materials and PowerPoint presentations, to assist the ambassadors in this recruitment effort. Medical students and residents seeking physicians jobs can speak one on one with a Physician Ambassador to learn about the career paths and benefits the Indian Health Program has to offer. Through this personal approach to recruiting, Physician Ambassadors play vital roles in the overall success of IHS recruitment efforts.

Contact Damion Killsback, PharmD if you would like to get involved and support IHS recruiting efforts at your college or university campus.
