Hey guys! My name is Carol Yin and I was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, so naturally, Connecticut is a big change of scenery for me. I found out about the Academy the winter of my junior year and have been in love with it ever since. There are many challenging times at the Academy, but I have never met such a close knit group of friends and peers willing to help.

Back home, I have a five year old mutt named Cocoa and two turtles named Ben and Jerry. If you can’t tell from my pets’ names, I love cooking, baking, and trying new foods. My favorite kinds of food are Indian and Chinese food. I also love the outdoors, being with friends, reading, and travelling. I hope to see much of the world including places like Japan, New Zealand, Bora Bora, and Italy. I like a wide range of music artists from Regina Spektor to Eminem. My favorite TV shows are The Office, Entourage, Family Guy, and The Amazing Race.
