The Women's Lacrosse Team plays during the spring season and is made up of both talented semi-pro players as well as enthusiastic beginners. The goal of the club is to foster sportsmanship and fair play of lacrosse while at the same time developing camaraderie and teamwork among participants. The USCGA Women’s Lacrosse program started in 2004. After three years as a club sport at the Academy, the Bears have already become a dominating force in the New England Women’s Lacrosse League (NEWLL). Playing other club teams such as Yale, Brandeis, University of Connecticut, Boston College, Dartmouth, and Vermont, the Bears have sustained an impressive showing, record and team standing. The highlight of the team's season is the All-Academy Tournament.
