Import Via CSV

Have lots of jobs to fill? We have provided an upload tool that enables you to add a large batch of jobs via a comma separated value (CSV) file.

STEP 1

Create a CSV file with the following columns (a sample CSV file can be downloaded at the link below):

id title category level district zip url
(must be unique)           (link to info or application)

You must use the short form abbreviation for the category and level fields in your CSV file. The tables below show the appropriate values for each Category or Level.

Category
CTE = Career/Technical Education ECE = Early Childhood/Elementary
ENG = English GFT = Gifted
FLG = Foreign Languages MAT = Mathematics
MUS = Music PED = Physical Education
SCI  = Science SSS = Social Studies
SED = Special Education TCH = Technology
AP  = Art and Performance SB  = Substitute
OT  = Uncategorized/Other  
Level
PH = Pre-K through 12 EE = Early Childhood/Elementary
MS = Middle School HS = High School

You can create a CSV file in Microsoft Excel, or Numbers, or any Spreadsheet application that allows you to save as file-type CSV. Download the CSV template.

STEP 2

Fill in the spreadsheet with your jobs data. Put only one entry per cell.

STEP 3

Upload your file to TEACH.gov
