Acquisition Center of Excellence

Acquisition Community Connection (ACC)

Acquisition Support Center
The Acquisition Support Center (ASC) is a new field-operating agency under the Assistant Secretary to the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology. It was formed by merging the Army Acquisition Career Management Office with the Army Acquisition Excecutive Support Agency, as well as career programs CP-14 (Contracting) and CP-13/17(LogPro). The website has both public and private content.

Aerospace Industries Association
The Aerospace Industries Association represents the nation's major manufacturers of commercial, military and business aircraft, helicopters, aircraft engines, missiles, spacecraft, materiels, and related components and equipment. Originally known as the Aeronautical Chamber of Commerce (ACCA), the association was incorporated in 1919. It was founded with a charter membership of 100 to advance aeronautics and American aviation. Early members included such aviation pioneers as Orville Wright and Glen H. Curtiss, as well as representatives of major aircraft manufacturing companies in the United States. Following World War II, the association was reorganized to concentrate on the industry's trade and commercial interests. Its name was appropriately changed to, "Aircraft Industries Association of America, Inc." and in 1959, to "Aerospace Industries Association of America, Inc." to recognize an evolving industry eager to embrace the new frontier of space. Today, AIA represents 84 member companies and 159 associate member companies.
