Welcome to the U. S. Coast Guard Academy. Your journey starts now as you explore our eight academic majors and 23 intercollegiate sports teams. You will also learn about the traditions of our nation’s oldest continuous seagoing service, born as the Revenue Marine in 1790.  

The Academy experience will be challenging and fun, with memories to last a lifetime. Upon graduation, you receive your Bachelor of Science degree with a commission as an Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. You will have many rewarding career opportunities in the fields of aviation; engineering; law; environmental protection; communications; intelligence; and computer information and technology.
