GLOBE Regions

GLOBE's 112 countries have formed into 6 distinct regions focused on facilitating collaborative student research opportunities nationally, regionally and internationally.   Regional GLOBE meetings and training events, science initiatives, as well as student activities and campaigns to promote GLOBE research efforts are initiated and promoted by the countries that belong to each region.  GLOBE regions also promote and support GLOBE resources in International Languages.

Each GLOBE region also has an elected representative as a member of the GLOBE International Advisory Committee (GIAC) and a Regional Help Desk Office (RHDO) that provides the main support services for that region.
