Greetings! Thank you for your interest in the DoD Modeling and Simulation Coordination Office (M&SCO) -the focal point for the Department's modeling and simulation activities. M&SCO continuously strives to foster relationships with M&S stakeholders and partner with the Federal government, industry, academia, and international defense agencies. Through our partnerships, we champion and promote interoperability and reuse of M&S through the creation and coordination of policy/guidance, tools, and standards.

I'm excited to say we recently published a significant policy document: DoD Instruction 5000.70 (Management of DoD Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Activities). This document establishes M&SCO as the focal point for coordinating all matters related to DoD M&S, with the advice and recommendation of the M&S Steering Committee (M&S SC), and as the Secretariat for the M&S SC.

Our pledge is to continue to update you with information about enterprise-level M&S tools, data, and services. We want to ensure we provide you with current information about the state of the DoD M&S enterprise. In addition, we intend to provide both users and developers who have access to M&S tools and data--, with information that will assist you with your M&S tasks. Such tools include the Verification Validation, and Accreditation Recommended Practices Guide (VV&A RPG); and Component and Community resources.
