Image or Figure Permissions

Check the book to make sure the image or figure you wish to reproduce has not been credited to another source, either on the page, on the copyright page, or in a credit section of the publication. UC Press can only authorize material for which it holds the copyright. For material copyrighted by another person or organization, you will need to secure permission directly from the cited source. For more information contact the US Copyright Office.

UC Press Author Permissions

If you are a UC Press author and would like to reprint material from your UC Press book in another publication, please email permissions@ucpress.edu or fax your request to (510) 643-7127. We will do our best to respond as quickly as possible. Please be advised, however, that it may take up to four weeks to process your request.
