UNTHSC SACS Reaffirmation 2010

 

Welcome to the UNT Health Science Center SACS reaffirmation web site

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) is the regional accrediting body for UNTHSC. UNT Health Science Center is currently preparing for a reaffirmation site visit that will occur in early 2010. SACS reaffirmation consists of several components:

1. Submission of a Compliance Certification Report in September 2009 for offsite review
2. Offsite review of the Compliance Certification
3. Submission of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), a five-year plan to improve student learning outcomes
4. Reaffirmation site visit by a SACS review team

SACS reaffirmation is integral to establishing a culture of excellence, performance improvement, and accountability and achieving our vision of becoming a top ten health science center.
