This week's edition of Waiver Wired congratulates those owners who anticipated the Jeremy Maclin and Miles Austin point-fests.

 Limas Sweed-WR-SteelersOct. 14 - 11:22 am et
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he hasn't decided who will be active as the No. 4 receiver between Limas Sweed and Shaun McDonald.
"It's really going to be week-to-week as we proceed with those two from here on out," Tomlin said. Sweed and McDonald have alternated being "up" the last two weeks. Sweed has the edge in special teams while Tomlin said McDonald is a better receiver right now.

 Eli Manning-QB-GiantsOct. 14 - 11:12 am et
Eli Manning (foot) will practice on a limited basis Wednesday.
It's a great sign for Manning's health that he'll at least be out there in some capacity today. "Hopefully we can build up as we go along," said coach Tom Coughlin. Manning will almost certainly be under center for the Giants' showdown with the Saints Sunday.

 John David Booty-QB-VikingsOct. 14 - 11:05 am et
Vikings released QB John David Booty from their practice squad.
So much for all that talk that Booty's presence would allow the team to trade Tarvaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels. The Vikings obviously never thought highly of the 2008 fifth-round pick. Still, he should catch on elsewhere shortly.

 Arnaz Battle-WR-49ersOct. 14 - 10:59 am et
Arnaz Battle is expected to be the 49ers punt returner with Allen Rossum gone.
Battle was the Niners' primary punt returner in 2004, averaging 8.6 yards on 31 returns with a touchdown. Since then, he's returned just 12 punts. With Michael Crabtree finally in the fold and Brandon Jones (shoulder) healthy, returning is Battle's best chance to be on the field.

 Matt Stover-K-ColtsOct. 14 - 10:48 am et
Colts signed K Matt Stover, formerly of the Ravens.
Stover will fill in for Adam Vinatieri, who is reportedly out six weeks with a right knee injury. Stover, 41, will get plenty of extra point opportunities but his field goal attempts may be limited. Vinatieri had just eight field goal attempts through five games this season.

 Glenn Dorsey-DL-ChiefsOct. 14 - 10:37 am et
The Chiefs are down on DL Glenn Dorsey and may be willing to trade him, according to NFL.com's Jason La Canfora.
La Canfora says the new coaching staff doesn't like Dorsey, the No. 5 pick in the 2008 draft. Like many other Chiefs, Dorsey landed in coach Todd Haley's doghouse when he showed up to camp out of shape and flunked a conditioning test. Dorsey has been coming around lately and giving up on him just 21 games into his career would be a very surprising move as the trade deadline approaches. He'd also be impossible to trade with a contract including $22.5 million guaranteed.

 Lex Hilliard-RB-DolphinsOct. 14 - 10:31 am et
Beat writer Mike Berardino reports that the Dolphins coaching staff likes Lex Hilliard as a runner and he'll be ahead of newly signed Kory Sheets on the depth chart.
With Patrick Cobbs (knee) out for the season, Hilliard is the clear No. 3 running back. He has great size and power and could be a factor if anything happens to Ronnie Brown or Ricky Williams.
