A look towards this weekend's action in college fantasy football.

 Cam Montgomery-RB-Mean GreenOct. 11 - 12:15 pm et
North Texas running back Lance Dunbar gained 224 yards from scrimmage and scored four times as the Mean Green lost another one, this time to Louisiana-Lafayette.  Dunbar was filling in for Cam Montgomery who injured his hamstring in practice earlier in the week.
Dunbar now has seven touchdowns on the season, with six coming in his last two games. He's officially one to grab.

 Steven Sheffield-QB-Red RaidersOct. 11 - 12:00 pm et
Texas Tech quarterback Steven Sheffield threw for an impressive seven touchdowns in Saturday's 66-14 rout of Kansas State. Sheffield finished the day with a tally of 490 yards passing on 33 of 41 passing in his first career start.
Sheffield threw his seven strikes to five different receivers, with Detron Lewis as Sheffield's main target. Lewis had two scores and 100 yards on eight receptions. 12 total receivers cought at least one pass in the game.

 Christian Ponder-QB-SeminolesOct. 11 - 11:15 am et
A career high passing day for Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder of 359 yards and five touchdowns was spoiled by a Seminole loss, and the ongoing drama over long-time head coach Bobby Bowden.
Ponder is nearing the 2,000 yard mark in passing yards, but surprisingly enough only had four touchdowns coming into this game so it was encouraging to see five of his passes cross the white stripe in this one. It should also be noted that Ponder has still only thrown one interception this season which dates back to the opener against Miami.

 Josh Nesbitt-QB-Yellow JacketsOct. 11 - 11:15 am et
For the second consecutive week Georgia Tech quarterback Josh Nesbitt has led his team in offensive production by whatever means necessary. Against Florida State this week Nesbitt led all rushers with 140 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, while also completing 4-of-8 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown.
Nesbitt is a winner plain and simple, and whether by land or air he will find a way to win and put up the fantasy stats. A tough match up against a Virginia Tech team that's playing as well as anyone in the country is on slate for next week, however.

 Aldarius Johnson-WR-HurricanesOct. 11 - 11:15 am et
The injuries continue to mount for the Hurricanes adding receiver Aldarius Johnson to the list who injured his right arm on the first drive of the game. Johnson was later seen with a sling on his injured wing.
There is no word at this time on the severity of this injury for Johnson.

 Graig Cooper-RB-HurricanesOct. 11 - 11:15 am et
Originally listed as questionable, Miami running back Graig Cooper indeed did not play against Florida Atlantic. Cooper sat out the contest with an undisclosed lower extremity injury.
Lee Chambers and Damien Berry saw the bulk of the carries in Coopers absence.

 Damien Berry-RB-HurricanesOct. 11 - 11:15 am et
With injured starter Graig Cooper on the sidelines and Miami already up to a 31-3 lead in the 2nd quarter fourth string running back Damien Berry, who is a converted safety, saw the first carries of his career...and made the most of them. Berry carried 14 times for 162 yards and a touchdown.
Cooper was injured, Miami was already up big, and Berry is a fourth string running back so you may not be able to look too much into this performance, but this was the highest rushing total of a Miami back this season. With neither Cooper or Javarris James doing anything to steal the spotlight yet maybe Berry could be worth a speculative add, especially with UCF on the schedule for next week.
