In general, all parks are open for public use each day from 5am - to 10pm unless otherwise posted. At times access is limited or affected by events or maintenance issues. To report any park non-emergency issue call 311. All park emergencies call 911.

Mission The purpose of the Parks and Recreation Department is to provide, protect and preserve a Park System that promotes quality recreational, cultural and outdoor experiences for the Austin community.

Charged with providing high quality recreation services and experiences Austin is accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA)	The goal of the master plan is to return the site to its former glory, where the water was cleaner and the experience of the pool was more enjoyable.
