Cemetery The Killeen City Cemetery started as a private cemetery in 1899 but has graves that date back to 1856. |

City Attorney's Office The City Attorney's Office is the legal office for the City of Killeen government. The office is staffed by the City Attorney, a Deputy City Attorney, three Assistant City Attorneys, and two support/clerical persons. The mission of this department is to provide quality legal services, advice, and representation to the City Council, City Manager, and the other City departments. |

Code Enforcement The Code Enforcement Department enforces city ordinances designed to reduce nuisances associated with the code violations, such as, but not limited to: care of Premises, graffiti, high weeds and grass, litter, trash and debris, junked vehicles, dangerous buildings and vehicle parking in residential areas. |

Community Development The Community Development Division is responsible for the administration of HUD formula grant programs that provide our community with funding for activities that benefit the community and improves the quality of life for all. |

Community Services The Community Services Department encompasses parks, recreation, libraries, conference services, cemetery services. Additionally, the Department encompasses the Killeen Civic and Conference Center and the Killeen City Cemetery. |

Finance The Finance Department is responsible for the sound fiscal management of all City assets. Finance provides support to all City departments through leading and managing Finance, Grant Administration, Accounting, Purchasing, Print Services, Building Services, Custodial Services, Fleet Services, EMS Billing and Collection, Utility Billing and Collection, and Community Development. |

Fire The Killeen Fire Department now provides fire protection to its citizens by means of eight strategically placed fire stations. |

Fleet Services Fleet services, also called "the Barn," maintains the city vehicles and the refueling point. |

Information Technology The Department of Information Technology’s responsibilities fall into three categories. • Operation of IT and communications infrastructure including all related equipment, software and personnel. • Governance of IT investments in support of the city staff, management and City Council. • Procurement of technology on behalf of the Departments and Divisions in the City of Killeen Also included in our responsibilities is the operation and maintenance of the enterprise resource planning software. |

Traffic The Traffic Division is responsible for the maintenance of all traffic signals, school zone flashers, signs and crosswalks, traffic regulatory signs, and street name signs. |

Solid Waste The Solid Waste Department is responsible for all aspects of garbage collection and disposal. |

Street Services The Street Services Division is responsible for the maintenance of the city's streets, sidewalks and drainageways. |

Utility Collections/Water Department The Utility Collections Department provides accurate monthly utility billing to the citizens of Killeen and provides customer service to citizens initiating, transferring or disconnecting services. The department also initiates the water and sewer tap process for new structures and collects payments for the taps. Meter services provided by the department include monthly reading, monitoring for suspected leaks, raising meter boxes and installing meters. |

Volunteer Services The Killeen Volunteers, Inc. board is organized for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes benefiting and accomplishing a public purpose of the City of Killeen. The duties of the Killeen Volunteers, Inc. board is to mobilize people and resources to address community needs and enhance quality of life through volunteerism. |
