City of Arlington Municipal Court Adjusts Operating Hours
New Hours Become Effective Oct. 1, 2009

Who: City of Arlington Municipal Court
What: Sets new operating hours
When: Beginning Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009
Where: Municipal Court in the City Office Tower, 101 S. Mesquite St.
Why: To adjust hours of operation to meet mandatory staff training requirements, to transition to new court software system and to address staffing shortages associated with retirement and turnover.

“Although we will be open fewer hours, we still offer several options to pay fines during hours the court is closed,” said Judge Stewart Milner. “Scheduled court dockets will not be impacted by the reduced hours.”

The following table reflects changes to the Court’s operating hours beginning on Oct. 1.
