What You Need to Bring
- $71.00 in cash. Sorry, no checks!
- Identification. Both bride and groom must bring identification.
Accepted forms of identification include
- certified copy of the applicant's birth certificate; or
- certificate, license, or document issued by this state, another state, the United States, or a foreign government.
- Social Security Number. You need not bring your social security card, but you must know the number.
- If you have divorced
- and your divorce was final within the last 30 days, you must bring a certified copy of your divorce decree which states the thirty day waiting period has been waived.
- and you wish to use your maiden name on the license, you will need to provide a certified copy of her birth certificate or a certified copy of her divorce decree that states her name is to be changed to her maiden name.
