There are three maintenance and four custodial
workers in our department which maintain 32 buildings throughout the
County. This Department is responsible for plumbing, lighting, A/C and
heating, general electrical, roof systems, interior and exterior
painting, grounds keeping, building safety and security, annual
inspections required by law, the Jail Commission and the Fire Marshal.
This department is responsible for cleaning
numerous courtrooms, offices and rest rooms as well as general
custodial work throughout the County. This office is responsible for
cost estimates, quotes, material procurement and inspection of capital
projects. The Maintenance Department is also responsible for running
the Inmate Work Program.
