  • Prior to sending in an application for an individual license you must first pass all required tests. The tests are administered by Thomson Prometric. Submit your original score report with your application.

Click on the State Fire Marshal's Licensing Candidate Information Bulletin found on this page for exam registration and scheduling information and test center locations.

  • Guide to Obtain a Registration and License - Sprinkler. Describes the different types of registrations and licenses, type of work permitted by each license, test requirements, and test references.      
  • Abbreviated Guide - Sprinkler Dwelling. This is an abbreviated guide to obtain a license and registration to install fire sprinklers in a one- or two-family dwelling.
