Library Funding Sources

This list is designed to provide an overview of the various types of alternative funding available to Texas school, public and/or academic libraries. Only a few organizations who limit their giving to a limited geographical area have been included.

This list is compiled from information directly from the organizations or found in published sources including the Directory of Texas Foundations, 22nd Edition, produced by the Nonprofit Resource Center of Texas (http://www.nprc.org/) and the National Guide to Funding for Libraries and Information Services, Seventh Edition, by the Foundation Center (http://www.fdncenter.org/).
