Regulatory Compliance/Quality Assurance Informal Dispute Resolution
The Regulatory Compliance/Quality Assurance section's primary function is informal dispute resolution.
The IDR Program receives and processes informal dispute resolution and licensure informal reconsideration requests for certain long-term care facilities.
The Regulatory Compliance/Quality Assurance section:
- Performs informal dispute resolution reviews of disputed deficiencies/violations for nursing facilities, Intermediate Care Facilities for persons with mental retardation (ICFs-MR), and assisted living facilities, by
- Reviewing, analyzing, and comparing state survey agency and long-term care provider information against the applicable regulations/standards.
- Performs informal reconsideration of disputed licensure revocation, denial (renewal) or suspension of nursing facilities, ICRs-MR and assisted living facilities.
- Provides HHSC oversight to the ICF-MR Contract Sanctions Team.
