The Save Texas History Program seeks to raise money for the preservation of historic maps and documents at the Texas General Land Office. A repository of over 35 million maps and documents dating back to the 1700's, the Archives of the Texas General Land Office is attempting to save these pieces of history from disintegration and make them available to the public via the Internet. At this link, you can do your part to Save Texas History through the online credit card purchase of a Historic Map Replica or make a donation directly to the program.
