HHSC announces the award of a contract for RFP# 07-002-WCY for Classroom Addition – Bldg. 510 to SRT Commercial Division.

Sealed bids were received by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Maintenance and Construction, at 909 W. 45th Street, Austin, Texas 78751, Telephone (512) 206-5880, on Thursday, March 6, 2008, for Project No. 07-002-WCY, Classroom Addition – Bldg. 510, Waco Center for Youth, Waco, Texas.

A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Waco Center for Youth, 3501 N. 19th Street, Waco, Texas 76708, Telephone (254) 745-5100, in the Cafeteria Bldg. 509. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.

A $200 plan deposit is required. Work consists of a single story building, 4 classrooms, total approximately 2,680 square feet in size. Work includes the construction of a steel frame building with a slab on grade foundation, brick veneer on metal studs. Bids will be received in accordance with State Procedures.
