Fuel Cells
Fuel cell research in AETD is aimed at:
- better understanding the fundamental science underlying fuel cell, through computer modeling and lab investigations, and
- developing a new generation of materials, including advanced solid polymer electrolytes, to improve the performance, reduce the weight, increase the product lifetime, and reduce the cost of fuel cells for automotive and other applications.
