Environmental and Occupational Epidemiology program
The Environmental and Occupational Epidemiology program focuses on the identification, intervention and prevention of occupational and environmental illnesses and injuries to Oregonians. We conduct surveillance on reportable environmental illnesses and targeted occupational injuries and diseases, and provide information and education on preventive strategies about environmental health risks to the public and health providers. Our mission is to improve the safety and health status of all Oregonians.

Preventing Illness and Injury
Partnering with industry, labor, researchers, state and federal agencies to share data, find trends in workplace injuries, and implement prevention strategies.
Identifying Pesticide Risks
Investigating reports of acute illness or injury related to recent pesticide exposures.
