Hazardous Substances Emergency Events Surveillance (HSEES)
The Public Health Division works with other government agencies to monitor any chemical leaks and spills that occur- and any resulting release of hazardous chemicals to the environment. The Hazardous Substances Emergency Events Surveillance (HSEES) system works to identify and describe any potential health effects associated with those leaks and spills.
