The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Land Quality program is responsible for the agency's efforts in waste reduction and management, spill preparedness and response, environmental assessment and cleanup, and underground storage tank compliance and cleanup.

Hazardous Waste Annual Reporting
Calendar year 2008 hazardous waste activities are required to be reported by March 1, 2009. HazWaste.net is DEQ's online system for submitting this report.
Oregon's Bottle Bill
Oregon's bottle bill has changed, and DEQ is proposing more changes based on the recommendations of the Bottle Bill Task Force.
