In recognition of the need to encourage excellence in public sector human resources, promote continuous learning and develop the next generation of leaders, International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR) is pleased to offer two separate Certification Programs to the public HR community -- IPMA-Certified Professional (IPMA-CP) and IPMA-Certified Specialist (IPMA-CS).
Established in 1999, the internationally recognized IPMA-CP and the IPMA-CS designations were developed to increase the proficiency of public sector human resource professionals at all levels of the government. Designed specifically for individuals who are currently employed in public sector human resources, IPMA-HR certification designations help you advance your career by giving you the opportunity to pursue continuing education, increase your involvement in the profession, and receive industry-wide recognition.
As a non-profit organization for agencies and individuals in the public sector human resources field, IPMA-HR's work with government entities around the world puts the Association in a unique position to recognize achievement and encourage excellence in the public service. Both comprehensive certification programs are designed to enhance knowledge, improve skills, and develop the next generation of human resource professionals.
