AEGL Commitee Membership
The National Advisory Committee for the Development of Acute Exposure Guideline Levels for Hazardous Substances (AEGL Committee) was formed to develop and recommend to EPA AEGLs for hazardous chemicals for use in chemical emergency programs. The AEGL Committee chair and members are appointed by the Designated Federal Officer with approval of the Deputy Administrator.
