Land Acquisition Services performs a variety of functions relating to the negotiation and purchasing of real property including acquiring easements for projects undertaken on behalf of client departments.

Land Acquisition Services involves the negotiation with land owners for the acquisition of property, either by agreement or expropriation, including payment for real property and damages as provided by The Land Acquisition Act and/or The Manitoba Expropriation Act, based on appraisal reports completed prior to negotiations with the owner.
