Education/Interpretation The Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge welcomes groups to take part in our extensive environmental education program. The best time to visit the Refuges is October through February. Field trips are scheduled Tuesdays through Sundays. All activities and facilities are free of charge to educational groups. About Wetlands Resource Kits are also available for loan.
These reusable kits provide elementary students and their teachers with
three weeks of easy-to-use activities and all materials needed for hands-on
learning about wetlands, animals, and habitat restoration. Call the Refuge
