Geographic Information Systems

 

The Geographic Information System (GIS) staff provides spatial data, analysis, graphics and maps to assist the biological staff with projects. 

GIS staff provide mapping support for critical habitat designations and have completed mapping for over 25 species.

GIS staff also works on regional issues in the southeast. Current projects include:

Regional fish habitat analysis in regards to restoration, protection and enhancement of watersheds.
