Liberty University's Heroes Fund Scholarship
Offered to Service Members and Veterans who were wounded in the Gulf Wars (Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, or Operation Iraqi Freedom). The National Amputation Foundation offers six scholarships to college students who have a major limb amputation and who will be attending an accredited university as full time students. The deadline for 2008 was August 31.

University Pledges Full Scholarships to Veterans
Beginning in fall 2009, the University of Rochester will provide full scholarships for Veterans to attend its College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering, the Eastman School of Music undergraduate studies program and the School of Nursing's RN completion (RN to BS) program.
