The Office of the Deputy
Assistant Secretary, (DAS), for Human Capital, Performance, and Partnerships, manages the Office of Planning and Performance Management, the
Office of Hearings and Appeals, the Office of Collaborative Action and Dispute Resolution,
the Center for Competitive Sourcing Excellence and the Indian Arts and Crafts Board. Through the Department's Deputy Chief
Human Capital Officer, he manages the Office of Civil Rights,
the Office of Human Resources, and
Office of Occupational Health and
Safety. The office coordinates the Department's efforts to
achieve excellence under the President's
Management Agenda. The DAS, for Human Capital, Performance, and Partnerships, is also the Department's E-Gov leader, serves as the Managing
Partner for two government-wide e-government initiatives:
Geospatial One-Stop
and Recreation.gov.
The office shares responsibility with the Secretary's Science Advisor
for the Department's role in the interagency annual performance budget
crosscut of the National
Invasive Species Council. |
