U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg deliver remarks at Explore Charter School, with New York City Schools Chancellor Joel Klein looking on. Secretary Duncan visited Explore Charter School in Brooklyn, N.Y., to discuss the importance of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which provides $100 billion for education funding to save and create jobs, advance school reform and provide college grants, tuition tax credits, and school modernization funds.
