Meeting of the Royalty Policy Committee
The RPC meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2005,
from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., MT. The agenda items for the
third meeting of the newly chartered Royalty Policy
Committee (RPC)
will include
remarks from the Deputy Director, MMS, and the Associate
Director, Minerals Revenue Management (MRM), as well as
updates from the following subcommittees: Coal, Federal
Oil and Gas Valuation, Oil and Gas Royalty Reporting,
and Indian Oil Valuation. The RPC will also hear special
reports on the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the Royalty in
Kind Program, and the MRM Strategic Business Planning
Initiative.

announces a panel discussion regarding Published Natural
Gas Index Pricing--A Panel will be held on April 26,
2005, in Houston, Texas. The intent of the
panel discussion is to be bring together some of the
leading experts in gas marketing to provide information
that will be helpful in answering the following
question:
Due the published natural gas price indices in the
United States now have sufficient liquidity,
transparency, and accuracy to truly represent the value
of natural gas commodities in today's marketplace?
Attendance at the panel discussion is free of charge.
