Paycheck Fairness Act Becomes Law
Supervisor Lilly Ledbetter worked at a Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company plant in Alabama for nearly 20 years. One day, Ledbetter learned through an anonymous note that her salary was 20 percent lower than that of the lowest paid male supervisor, despite having more experience than several of them.
