Getting Here

The American Art Museum's main building is at the heart of a revitalized downtown arts district, known as the Penn Quarter. It is conveniently located above the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro station (Red, Yellow and Green lines). The DC Circulator also serves the museum's Penn Quarter neighborhood. Barrier-free access is available at the 8th and G Street entrance.

Getting Here

The Renwick Gallery, the Museum's branch location for contemporary American craft and decorative arts, is located steps from the White House in the heart of historic federal Washington. It is conveniently located near the Farragut North (Red line) and Farragut West (Blue and Orange lines) Metro stations. Barrier-free access is available at the 17th Street entrance.
