Published: 1/13/2009 Rep. Bachmann on Fox Business discussing the President's request to release the remaining $350 billion in TARP funds. The case has not yet been made that we should be releasing this tranche. We should be having more hearings and debate about the need for this money, not just pushing through Rep. Franks flawed oversight bill that dictates how the rest should be spent. Examining the track record of the first $350 billion, much more work needs to be done to make sure we use the funds effectively.
