Registration Instructions for Degree-Seeking Students
Enrolling for the first time:
If you are registering for the first time after being admitted (or re-enrolling if you’re a former MU student) as a bachelor of general studies degree-seeking student, follow these steps:

  1. Review and be familiar with the course offerings.
  2. Contact Chris Marshall to set up an appointment to discuss which courses will be best for you.
  3. You will use the new myZou student information system to register if you are fully admitted to the bachelor of general studies degree program. You will need to know your PawPrint and password to login and begin the registration process. See the myZou page for steps for logging in for the first time.
  4. New students receive their PawPrint and temporary password in an admission letter. Students will activate their student PawPrint account and create a new password through myZou. After activation, students will have access to their MU e-mail*, online/web-assisted courses, MU Library resources and more.
  5. Students working toward degree admission: If you are working toward admission to the degree program, but are not yet admissible, you can take classes through the "degree intent" track. Complete the Direct Access form, Degree Intent track.

Continuing students:
If you are a currently enrolled degree-seeking student, but have never used the new myZou system to enroll yourself for classes, you'll still need to follow steps 1–3 above. If you have previously used the myZou system, you'll just need to login (once early registration begins and you are able to enroll) and register for the courses of your choice.

Don't forget to consult with Chris Marshall about your course selections to make sure they meet graduation requirements.

To add, drop or swap courses after you have initially registered, you will use myZou. For more tips on changing your schedule, visit the Add/Drop/Withdraw Instructions page.

*ALL University-related information and announcements will be sent to MU e-mail accounts.
