CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture: A WWWeb Journal
(Open Access)
This scholarly journal in the humanities and social sciences in the fields of comparative literature, cultural studies, communication and media studies, culture and literary theory, interdisciplinary studies, and comparative cultural studies is a peer-reviewed quarterly published online by Purdue University Press in free access. The material of the journal is archived by the National Library of Canada. In addition to papers and book review articles, the journal maintains a Library with bibliographies, selected research material and syllabi, an international directory of scholars in the field, a moderated listserv, etc. The journal is also published as an annual in hard copy with selected material from the year's work. Colleagues are invited to send new work for publication to the editor, Steven Tötösy de Zepetnek at clcweb@purdue.edu. For review, publishers are invited to send books to the editor, Steven Tötösy, 8 Sunset Road, Winchester, MA 01890 (a second copy is required directly to the reviewer upon note by the editor).

Education and Culture
An international peer reviewed journal of the John Dewey Society, takes an integrated view of philosophical, historical, and sociological issues in education. Submissions of Dewey scholarship, as well as work inspired by Dewey's many interests, are welcome.

First Opinions—Second Reactions
(Open Access)
First Opinions—Second Reactions (FOSR) fills a void by publishing book reviews that meet the needs of K-12 teachers of Language Arts, parents and children, and public and school librarians. FOSR invites submissions, but also commissions particular scholars and writers to prepare articles for each issue.

Interdisciplinary Journal of Problem-based Learning
(Open Access)
The Interdisciplinary Journal of Problem-based Learning (IJPBL) publishes relevant, interesting, and challenging articles of research, analysis, or promising practice related to all aspects of implementing problem-based learning (PBL) in K–12 and post-secondary classrooms.

The Jewish Role in American Life: An Annual Review
The Jewish Role in American Life examines the complex relationship between Jews and the United States. Jews have been instrumental in shaping American culture and, of course, Jewish culture and religion have likewise been profoundly recast in the United States, especially in the period following World War II.


The Journal of Problem Solving
(Open Access)
A multidisciplinary journal that publishes empirical and theoretical papers on mental mechanisms involved in solving problems, which include (but are not limited to) optimization problems such as the Traveling Salesman Problem, mathematics and physics problems, theorem proving, games and puzzles, knowledge discovery problems, insight problems and a range of problems in applied settings.

Philip Roth Studies
Publishes articles pertaining entirely or in part to Philip Roth, his fiction, and his literary and cultural significance.

Shofar: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Jewish Studies
A quarterly scholarly publication edited and produced by the Purdue Jewish Studies Program and published by the Purdue University Press. It is the official journal of the Midwest and Western Jewish Studies Associations. The mission of the journal is to present interesting new scholarly work to a general university public, to review a wide range of new books in the field, and to emphasize pedagogical aspects of Jewish Studies at the college and university level.

Studies in Jewish American Literature
Publish peer reviewed scholarly articles, book reviews, occasional poetry, and short stories dealing with aspects of the Jewish experience in literature.

The Journal of Terrestrial Observation
(Open Access)
JTO’s unique mission is to examine the multi-disciplinary theories, models, technologies, and applications associated with earth observation in the broadest sense. The journal covers a wide range of topics including satellite remote sensing, aircraft reconnaissance, and proximate sensing utilizing in situ instrumentation. Periodic special issues devoted to specific emerging technologies and unique applications will accept both invited and openly-solicited articles for review.
